After pulling your credit report, we go over it together, line by line, making sure it's correct. We are experts on how credit scoring works, and will let you know which items on your report are helping you, and which if any are hurting.
When it comes to financing a home, we don't take the quick "Yes, you're approved" or "No, you're declined" approach. With us, it's either "Yes, you're approved", or "You're not quite ready yet." If approved, we go to great lengths not only to get you the best loan possible, but to look at your overall credit picture, and help you make the best financial decision.
Unlike other mortgage companies, we work one-on-one with every client. If buying a home is not possible immediately, we advise you in great detail how to most effectively improve your scores and any other aspects of your credit. Regardless of the time frame, we maintain regular contact with you, check how things are going, and share our knowledge every step of the way. Our goal is to help you get the home you want, and be more financially healthy and aware.
There is no fee for the advice and guidance we provide - in fact, charging for credit help is illegal. (See this page for important information.) We only make money if and when a loan actually closes. However, we consider it part of our job to provide the expertise we offer our clients, and are happy to do so. We want to see everyone in the home of their dreams.
